Confidence training - who needs it
The simple answer is that in the same way that your car needs a service, every now and again your confidence needs to go into the garage for a tune up. The more regularly your mind is cleansed of all the hassles, negativity, and set-backs, the better you will feel and the more confident that you will appear.
So how do I fine-tune my mind? Well positive self-talk and deep breathing techniques are excellent for your confidence training. Also focus on the process of what you are doing and acknowledge that set backs can and will occur. In the UK, we tend to talk each other and therefore ourselves down. Whilst many in the UK feel that making an effort to achieve a positive outlook is ‘forced’, I cannot help but feel invigorated when I am in the USA. Genuine or not, the fact that people make the effort to try and appear enthusiastic results in a personal uplift IF you let go and go along with it.
